Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Health Care Assistant to provide support for vulnerable adults in the care and nursing home sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate care to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, or private care settings
- Assist with daily activities such as personal care, feeding, and mobility support
- Monitor and report patient health conditions to nursing staff or supervisors
- Ensure patient dignity and comfort at all times
- Support healthcare teams in implementing care plans and ensuring high standards of care
- Maintain accurate records of patient care and progress
- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a care/nursing home based in the UK
- Be able to use a hoist
- Be able to do personal care
- Right to work in the UK
- Advanced clear DBS
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
